Why Are Relationships Important?
Around the World
Research has been shown through a study done in Bangladesh that individuals who worked in a social environment were happier than their counterparts who did not. For example, an individual working as an agricultural worker is happier than a farmer who has the same economic ability, but works alone. This study shows that through interaction, as long as the basic needs are met, social interaction is a predictor of personal happiness.
